Na maksimalnoj visini od 120 metara i to od nivoa rijeke do nivoa kolovoza
Na gradilištu Koridora 5C u Zenici, na dionici Klopče – Donja Gračanica, danas je svečano spojen vijadukt Babina rijeka, jedan je od zahtjevnijih građevinskih objekata na ovoj podionici.
Vijadukt prelazi preko doline, odnosno korita Babine rijeke na maksimalnoj visini od 120 metara i to od nivoa rijeke do nivoa kolovoza čim je zvanično najviši izgrađeni vijadukt na dionici autoputa kroz Bosnu i Hercegovinu.
Prema riječima Narcise Livnjak – Borić, u ime Autocesta FBiH, vijadukt Babina rijeka sastoji se od dva paralelna objekta pojedinačne dužine 385 metara.
Objekti imaju po tri raspona oslonjena na dva krajnja i dva srednja stuba. Oba objekta su građena metodom slobodne konzolne gradnje sa srednjim rasponom od 165 m. Rasponska konstrukcija je sandučastog poprečnog presjeka promjenjive visine, izvedena od prednapregnutog betona. Srednji stubovi su visine cca 60 i 80 m. Temeljenje objekata je na armiranobetonskim bunarima dubine 18 m i prečnika 12 m.
Na lijevoj strani autoceste (smjer Zenica – Sarajevo, op.a.) izveden je kao zasebna konstrukcija produžetak vijadukta u dužini od 206 m sa rasponskom konstrukcijom od prednapregnutog betona oslonjenom na zajednički krajnji oslonac lijevog objekta vijadukta Babina rijeka, te pet srednjih i krajnji stub. Temeljenje je na šipovima – pojašnjava Livnjak – Borić.
U narednom periodu, najavljuje, izvodit će se radovi na hidroizolaciji mosta, ugradnji prelaznih naprava, izradi asfalta i montiranju zaštitnih ograda.
