U posljednja 24 sata u Španiji je od posljedica koronavirusa preminulo 276 ljudi, dok je prema zvaničnim podacima manje od 1.500 novozaraženih.Stručnjaci ocjenuju da je Španija pregurala vrhunac epidemije te da vlada postepeno ublažava vanredne mjere. Odrasli građani Španije tako prvi put nakon sedam sedmica ponovo mogu trčati i voziti bicikl.

Jedna od najstrožih karantina u Evropi olakšana je i djeci prije sedam dana, ali količina vremena za vježbanje na otvorenom ostaje ograničena. Većina odraslih može hodati ili baviti se sportom između 6 i 10 sati, te između 20 i 23 sata, piše BBC.

Italija ima najveći broj smrtnih slučajeva u Evropi, a slijede je Velika Britanija i Španija.

U Barceloni su trkači i biciklisti prepunili staze u blizini plaže, izvijestila je novinska agencija Reuters. U Madridu su stanovnici izrazili olakšanje što će napokon moći vježbati na otvorenom.

“Sretni smo, osjećamo se slobodni”, kazala je Susana Piego za Reuters, dok je Isus Gutierrez rekao da je osnovno, za fizičko i mentalno zdravlje, omogućiti ljudima da se bave sportom.

Od 14. marta građanima Španije dozvoljeno je da izlaze iz kuće samo kako bi kupili hranu ili lijekove, odlaze na posao ako posao od kuće nije moguć ili da kratko prošetaju psa.

Španjolci su tako iskoristili najnovije ublažavanje karantina, jer su rano jutros izašli na ulice. Primjetno je da su se ljudi socijalno distancirali, da poštuju mjere, dok je u saobraćaju bilo vrlo malo automobila.
