Svečana sjednica Općinskog vijeća Gradačac povodom 1. marta
Povodom 1. marta, Dana nazavisnosti Bosne i Hercegovine, danas je u kongresnoj sali Gradačačkog sajma održana svečana sjednica Općinskog vijeća Gradačac kojoj su prisustvovali osim općinskih vijećnika i predstavnici boračkih organizacija, političkih subjekata, vjerskih zajednica i drugi predstavnici privrednog, kulturnog i javnog života.
Svečanu sjednicu je otvorio predsjedavajući Općinskog vijeća Gradačac Enir Šakić koji je istakao da 1. mart obilježavamo kao jedan od najvažnijih dana naše historije uz podsjećanje na okolnosti i vrijeme 29. februara i 1 marta 1992. godine kada su građani odlučili stvoriti i graditi našu Bosnu i Hercegovinu kao nezavisnu državu. Uputio je čestitke svim građankama i građanima općine Gradačac i zahvalio se svim prisutnim što su uveličali ovaj veoma bitan datum.
Općinski načelnik mr. sci Edis Dervišagić izrazio najiskrenije čestitke povodom 1. marta i zahvalio se svima koji su danas došli uveličati ovu današnju svečanu sjednicu Općinskog vijeća. Naglasio je da ne smijemo zaboraviti žrtve koje su date za našu jedinu nam domovinu Bosnu i Hercegovinu i da samo cijelovita Bosna i Hercegovina država ravnopravnih naroda može biti država po mjeri svih nas. Također je izrazio nadu da ćemo sljedeće godine obilježavanje 1.marta dočekati u još boljim i povoljniji kako političkim tako i ekonomskim prilikama i još jedanput čestitao 1. mart – Dan nezavisnosti BiH.
Prigodan referat posvećen ovom datumu podnio je Selmir Idrizović član Udruženja SEHARA a kulturno zabavni program izveli su učenici osnovnih i srednjih škola kao i ženski horovi iz Gradačca.
Svečanoj sjednici prethodilo je polaganje cvijeća na Centralnom spomen obilježju šehidima, palim borcima i civilnim žrtvama rata 1992-95. i Spomen obilježju poginulim borcima NOR-a 1941-45.
