Thaci: Simbol albanskog orla ne ubija ljude
Kosovski predsjednik Hashim Thaci brani kao “emotivan, a ne politički stav”, gestu kojom su dva švicarska nogometaša albanskog porijekla – sklapanjem ruku u obliku dvoglavog orla – slavila golove u utakmici Svjetskog prvenstva u nogometu koju je Švicarska igrala protiv Srbije.
“Taj simbol nije simbol koji je ubio ljude. To nije simbol napada ni na koga. To je simbol ptice. Zato, neka Švicarska leti prema uspjehu”, prenosi Thacijeve riječi portal Politico.
Po njegovim riječima, FIFA ne bi trebala donositi odluke na osnovu političkog pritiska.
Politico podsjeća da su se tenzije koje postoje na relaciji Beograd – Priština proširile nakon utakmice u kojoj su Granit Xhaka i Xherdan Shaqiri sklopili ruke u obliku dvoglavog orla nakon pobjede nad reprezentacijom Srbije.
Kazne igračima Švicarske, ali i Kokezi i Krstajiću
Portal podsjeća da je dvoglavi orao tradicionalni simbol albanskog identiteta i da su srpski dužnosnici takvu gestu okarakterizirali kao političku provokaciju.
FIFA je izrekla upozorenje i novčanu kaznu od 10.000 švicarskih franaka (8.628 eura) Xhaki i Shaqiriju, uz obrazloženje da su kažnjeni zbog nesportskog ponašanja. Osim njih, zbog istog razloga, kažnjen je i Stephan Lichtsteiner, koji je kažnjen dvostruko nižom globom.
Zbog iste utakmice kažnjeni su i predsjednik Fudbalskog saveza Srbije Slaviša Kokeza i izbornik reprezentacije Srbije Mladen Krstajić. Njima je određeno po 5.000 franaka kazne (4.314 eura), te su upozoreni zbog komentara izrečenih nakon iste utakmice.
