Turkmenistan zabranio upotrebu riječi koronavirus
Turkmenistan je zabranio medijima da upotrebljavaju riječi “koronavirus”, javljaju Reporteri bez granica (RSF), međunarodna organizacija za slobodu medija.
Kako se navodi u sinoćnjem saopštenju, korona virus je takođe uklonjen iz zdravstvenih brošura distribuiranim u školama, bolnicama i na radnim mjestima.
Turkmenistan, bogata centralnoazijska država koja se graniči sa Iranom za sada nije prijavila nijedan slučaj zaraze korona virusom, a u Iranu ima više od 44.000 zaraženih.
Reporteri bez granica, čije sjedište je u Parizu, navode da se dešava da policija u civilu hapsi ljude koji nose maske ili razgovaraju o koronavirusu.
Turkmenistan koji je na posljednjem mestu na indeksu Reportera – Svjetske slobode medija za 2019. godinu, jedna je od najzatvorenijih zemalja svijeta, navodi AP.
Zemljom vlada predsednik Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov, od 2006. godine, uz sveobuhvatan kult ličnosti u kome se on predstavlja kao “arkadak” ili zaštitnik.
