Turska gradi odbrambeni centar “Mjesec i zvijezda” u kojem će raditi 15.000 ljudi

Predsjednik Republike Turske Recep Tayyip Erdogan izjavio je da Turska gradi veliki kompleks koji će okupiti rukovodstvo odbrane i vojske i svojom impozantnošću turskim neprijateljima ulijevati strah, a prijateljima sigurnost, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).

Erdogan je prisustvovao ceremoniji polaganja kamena temeljca projekta “Mjesec i zvijezda“, odnosno kompleksa koji će na jednom mjestu okupiti kompletan odbrambeni i vojno-komandujući establišment Turske.

On je u obraćanju prisutnim čestitao nacionalni praznik Dan pobjede i Dan oružanih snaga te odao počast osnivaču moderne Turske Mustafu Kemalu Ataturku i njegovim saborcima koji su na današnji dan prije 99 godina izborili pobjedu u Ratu za nezavisnost te zemlje.

“Nastavljamo s generacije na generaciju prenositi duh 30. augusta i cijelom svijetu pokazivati našu odlučnost u odbrani nezavisnosti i slobode“, kazao je Erdogan i dodao da je upravo taj praznik prigoda da se položi kamen temeljac projekta “Mjesec i zvijezda“ kojeg provodi Ministarstvo odbrane Turske.

“Razvojem Turske rastu i njene odbrambene potrebe i postalo je neophodno da sve jedinice odbrane budu pod jednim krovom i da koordinirano djeluju u modernom infrastrukturnom ambijentu. Nama sada treba jedan centar iz kojeg ćemo koordinirati investicijama, troškovima i odbrambenim potrebama i tako svijetu poslati snažnu poruku. Smatramo da nam priliči ovakav kompleks u periodu kada se govori i o složenoj cyber odbrani“, kazao je Erdogan.

Kompleks “Mjesec i zvijezda“ naziv je dobio po objektima koji će iz zraka biti postavljeni u tom obliku, a najavljeno da je da će gradnja zadovoljavati i najviše ekološke standarde.

“Izgradit ćemo centralni odbrambeni sistem. Kompleks koji ste vidjeli na ekranu će ubuduće neprijateljima ulijevati strah, a našim prijateljima sigurnost“, kazao je Erdogan i dodao da se kompleks gradi na površini od 12,6 miliona metara kvadratnih i da će u njemu raditi 15.000 ljudi.

Turski predsjednik Erdogan je kazao da je plan da svečano otvorenje kompleksa “Mjesec i zvijezda“ bude održano 19. maja 2023. godine i to na stotu godišnjicu osnivanja Republike Turske.

“Vjerujem da su monumentalne građevine poput Predsjedničke palate i ovog projekta, osim njihovih osnovnih namjena, ujedno i simboli moći nacija i država“, poručio je Erdogan.

Erdogan je ukazao i na krupne korake u razvoju odbrambene industrije Turske, a posebno u oblasti razvoja domaće proizvodnje, s akcentom na bespilotne letjelice.

“Više na međunarodnom tržištu ne pitamo ko će nam šta prodati, već pitamo ko će šta kupiti od nas“, kazao je Erdogan.
