Više od hiljadu ljudi u subotu se ponovno u Beču odvažilo na prosvjede da bi iskazali nezadovoljstvo zbog restriktivnih mjera koje je austrijska vlada uvela zbog suzbijanja širenja koronavirusa.

Dana 16. januara na ulice Beča izašlo je 10.000 ljudi, a isto ih se toliko okupilo i nakon petnaest dana, no i tada su vlasti zabranile održavanje okupljanja.

“Moj otac u studenom je počinio samoubojstvo jer nije želio proživljavati ono što je već jednom proživio tijekom rata”, rekla je AFP-u Beatrix Hasner, koja je nosila venecijansku masku. “Rekao je da se ne želi ponovno vraćati u doba diktature i u 92. godini se ubio”, kazala je potresena prosvjednica.

Austrija je od božićnih blagdana treći put u ‘lockdownu’.

U ponedjeljak je vlada popustila mjere, dopustivši otvaranje muzeja i trgovina, a nastava će se od ponedjeljka održavati dvaput tjedno u školskim klupama. Neki prosvjednici smatraju da vladi jednostavno nedostaje empatije.
