Organizacija islamske saradnje (OIC) sutra će u saudijskom gradu Džedda odraži vanredni sastanak na nivou ministara vanjskih poslova, na kojem će se razgovarati o takozvanom mirovnom planu koji je nedavno predstavio američki predsjednik Donald Trump, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
Na Twitter profilu OIC-a navedeno je kako će Izvršni odbor za vanredne situacije raspravljati o stavu OIC-a u kontekstu Trumpovog takozvanog mirovnom plana, te da će na sastanku biti govora i generalno o izraelsko-palestinskom pitanju.
Američki predsjednik Donald Trump je 28. januara, u društvu izraelskog premijera Benjamina Netanyhaua, u Bijeloj kući predstavio takozvani mirovni bliskoistočni plan koji predviđa da Jerusalem bude proglašen nedjeljivim glavnim gradom Izraela.
Trump je poručio da je njegov plan zadnja šansa za uspostavu nezavisne palestinske države.
Izraelski premijer Netanyahu otkrio je da plan predviđa izraelski suverenitet nad svim jevrejskim naseljima na Zapadnoj obali te poručio da je taj plan veoma veliki i historijski dobitak za Izrael.
Palestinska strana, uključujući pokrete otpora Fatah i Hamas, odbacuje Trumpov plan i najavljuje nastavak borbe za prava Palestinaca.
Palestinski predsjednik Abbas plan je ranije nazvao zavjerom, a iz Hamasa su poručili da taj plan nije vrijedan ni papira na kojem je štampan.
