U Gradačcu danas obilježen Dan žrtava
Polaganjem cvijeća i odavanjem počasti na Centralnom spomen obilježju šehidima, poginulim borcima i civilnim žrtvama rata 1992-1995 godine, danas je u Gradačcu održana centralna manifestacija obilježavanja Dana žrtava grada Gradačac.
Centralna manifestacija obilježavanja značajnog datuma iz bliže historije za Gradačac počela je himnom i već tradicionalnim učenjem Jasina i Fatihe pred duše umrlih, te odavanjem počasti šehidima, poginulim borcima i civilnim žrtvama rata 1992-1995 godina.
Evocirajući uspomene na šehide, poginule borce i vrijeme u kojem su gradačački borci odbranili ovaj grad, odajući im počast predsjednik Saveza boračkih organizacija grada Gradačac, Munever Beširović je rekao: “Danas se prisjećamo saboraca, šehida, poginulih boraca i civilnih žrtava rata. Prisjećamo se ’92 godine kada je neprijatelj cijelu godinu atakovao na liniju odbrane. Kada je zasipao granatama, raznim projektilima uže jezgro grada. Kada je razorio Gradačac te nas bombardovao sa 11 aviona. Podnijeli smo žrtvu od 1000 imena.
Gradonačelnik grada je rekao kako Gradačac nikada neće zaboraviti svoje žrtve i heroje.“Neka nam se ovo zlo nikada više ne ponovi, a da na greškama iz prošlosti izvučemo puke za budućnost.”- istakao je gradonačelnik.
Iako ovaj dan jako važan za Gradačac, ove godine je zbog cjelokupne situacije obilježen u reduciranom broju građana i predstavnika vlasti.
“Ovaj dan je za nas jako bitan i trudimo se da ga svake godine obilježimo na jedan dostojanstven način. Mladi ljudi bi trebali da se više angažuju po ovom pitanju. Mi starimo, zaboravljamo to sve, ali mladi ljudi bi trebali da prihvate ovo i da nastave održavanje tradicije obilježavanja ovih datuma.”- poručio je Razim Omerović.
