Najmanje 33 spasioca poginula su danas u lavini na istoku Turske, a mnogi su zatrpani snijegom dok su pokušavali da nađu dvije osobe nestale u prethodnoj lavini.
Spasilačke napore otežavaju magla, obilan snijeg i jak vjetar.
Prva, sinoćna lavina zatrpala je vozilo za čišćenje snijega i minibus. Pet osoba je poginulo, dvije su nestale, dok je osam uspjelo da se izbavi.
Tim od 300 spasilaca došao je danas na planinski put blizu mjesta Bahdžesaraj u provinciji Van, na granici s Iranom, tragajući za žrtvama sinoćne lavine.
Međutim, danas oko podneva, tim spasilaca zatrpala je nova lavina.
Turska agencija za vanredne situacije objavila je da su pronađena tijela 33 spasioca, a da su 53 povrijeđena, ne navodeći broj i dalje zatrpanih spasilaca koje kolege pokušavaju da nađu.
Ministarstvo unutrašnjih poslova saopštilo je da je oko 30 članova spasilačkog tima ili spaseno ili da je uspjelo da se samo izvuče iz snijega. Informacije o njihovom stanju nisu objavljene.
