U teškoj nesreći život izgubilo četvero mladih ljudi, dva mladića i dvije djevojke
Potvrdio je to za FTV glasnogovornik MUP-a Kantona 10 Ivica Vrdoljak te kazao da je dio uviđaja obavljen noćas, no, da je zbog slabe vidljivosti nastavljen jutros Sinoć oko 23 i 15, u vrijeme zabrane kretanja (policijskog sata) dogodila se teška saobraćajna nesreća na magistralnom pravcu Livno – Bosansko Grahovo u mjestu Kovačić, područje Grada Livna, u kojoj je u sudaru Golfa i Land Rovera život izgubilo četvero mladih ljudi, dva mladića i dvije djevojke.
Potvrdio je to za FTV glasnogovornik MUP-a Kantona 10 Ivica Vrdoljak te kazao da je dio uviđaja obavljen noćas, no, da je zbog slabe vidljivosti nastavljen jutros. Naime, pored toga što je bila noć vidljivost je dodatno smanjena gustim dimom od požara koji već danima plamti na Dinari. Po dojavi na mjesto nesreće izašli su djelatnici hitne pomoći Doma zdravlja i Kantonalne bolnice Livno, livanjski vatrogasci i djelatnici PU Livno i MUP-a K10.
Utvrđeno je kako je golfom upravljao J.M. (21) rođen u Livnu nastanjen u Strupniću koji je poginuo na licu mjesta kao i suvozačica S.V. (20), također iz istoga sela. Dvoje putnika u golfu, 20-godišnji mladić iz Strupnića inicijala V.V. i 19-godišnja djevojka iz Čelebića I.R. prevezeni su u Kantonalnu bolnicu Livno gdje su, na žalost, uslijed teških povreda preminuli.
Za upravljačem Land Rovera bio je T.P. (46) koji je zadobio lakše tjelesne ozljede a suvozač I.Š. (38) teže, no, po pružanju medicinske pomoći napustio je bolnicu.
