Ukrajina: Srušili smo ruski avion pun padobranaca
UKRAJINSKO ministarstvo obrane priopćilo je kako je velik broj ruskih padobranaca poginuo nakon što su ukrajinske snage oborile avion koji je prevozio ruske padobrance kod Kijeva.
BBC nije uspio provjeriti ove tvrdnje, a rusko ministarstvo obrane još nije komentiralo izvješća.
Ministarstvo obrane u Kijevu napisalo je u objavi na Facebooku da su ukrajinski borbeni avioni Su-27 presreli ruski transportni vojni avion IL-76 MD rano jutros oko 00:30 po lokalnom vremenu dok je pokušavao spustiti padobrance kod Kijeva.
Prema specifikacijama koje je objavio proizvođač, avion može prevoziti do 167 vojnika, kao i posadu od 6-7 ljudi.
“Ovo je osveta za Luhansk 2014.”, napisao je na Facebooku zapovjednik ukrajinske vojske, general-pukovnik Valerij Zalužnij, misleći na rušenje ukrajinskog zrakoplova prije osam godina, u kojem je poginulo 40 padobranaca i devet članova posade.
Glasnogovornik ruske vojske general-bojnik Igor Konašenkov izjavio je u subotu da Moskva nije pretrpjela žrtve tijekom invazije.
