U distriktu Nusaybin, u turskom gradu Mardinu, danas je uspješno deaktiviran eksploziv postavljen ispod vozila turskog policajaca. Naknadno je utvrđeno da je policajac trebao osiguravati skup u Siirtu, na kojem se danas obratio turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
Ručno izrađena eksplozivna naprava postavljena je ispod parkiranog automobila policijskog službenika u Odjelu interventne policije u Nusaybinu, u Mardinu.
Nakon što je eksploziv otkriven, na mjesto događaja upućeni su stručnjaci za uklanjanje bombi. Timovi su kontrolisano uništili eksploziv.
Timovi za uviđaj na mjestu zločina skenirali su napravu i vozilo, te uzeli otiske prstiju zbog potrage za osumnjičenima. Za osobama koje su postavile eksploziv aktivno se traga.
Doznaje se da je policajac, pod čiji automobil je postavljen eksploziv, bio dio tima koji je trebao biti poslan kao pojačanje za osiguravanje programa predsjednika Erdogana, koji je danas održan u Siirtu, na jugoistoku Turske.
Utvrđeno je da je policijski službenik napustio mjesto boravka, krenuo po svog kolegu koji je također trebao na zadatak izvan grada, a upravo njegov kolega je primijetio da se ispod vozila nalazi sumnjiv predmet.
