Predsjednica Evropske komisije Ursula von der Leyen doputovala je danas u Sarajevo. To je prva posjeta zvaničnika Evropske unije nakon preporuke Komisije za kandidatski status za BiH, što će biti i jedna od tema razgovora sa zvaničnicima u Bosni i Hercegovini.
Predsjednicu Evropske komisije na aerodromu dočekala je ministrica vanjskih poslova BiH Bisera Turković.
– Važna službena posjeta za našu državu. Evropska unija je naš ključni partner. Građani i država očekuju dodatni napredak kroz kandidatski status za BiH i doprinos stabilizaciji i napretku – poručila je Turković nakon dočeka.
Von der Layen se po dolasku u glavni grad BiH sastala sa članovima Predsjedništva BiH, nakon čega je planirano da zajedno sa predsjedavajućim Vijeća ministara BiH Zoranom Tegeltijom svečano otvori novoizgrađeni tunel Ivan na Koridoru Vc.
