Veliki broj Palestinaca ubijen u raketnom napadu Izraela na Gazu
Hamas je prije toga ispalio rakete na Izrael, aktivirajući sirene upozorenja u Jerusalemu i blizu granice s Gazom.
Izraelski premijer Benjamin Netanyahu upozorio je danas da je palestinska grupa Hamas “prešla crvenu liniju” raketnim napadom na Jerusalem i najavio oštar odgovor.
“Nećemo tolerisati napade na našu teritoriju, na naš glavni grad, naše građane i vojnike. Ko god nas napadne, platiće skupo”, istakao je Netanijahu, prenosi AP.
On je naveo da će se borbe još neko vrijeme nastaviti.
Požar u komlpeksu džamije Al-Aksa
Ashraf al-Qidra, glasnogovornik palestinskog ministarstva zdravstva u Gazi rekao je za Al Jazeeru da je 20 Palestinaca ubijeno u izraelskoj raciji na Pojas Gaze.
Al Jazeerinom reporteru Walidu Mahmoudu je rekao da je u zračnim napadima također ozlijeđeno još 65 ljudi.
Ogromni požar izbio je u ponedjeljak navečer u jerusalimskom kompleksu džamije Al-Aksa, vidljivom iz raznih dijelova grada.
Uzrok požara na trećem najsvetijem mjestu u islamu nije se mogao odmah potvrditi, ali uslijedio je nakon juriša izraelskih policijskih snaga za koji su medicinari rekli da je iza sebe ostavio ranjenu 331 osobu.
Administracija američkog predsjednika Joea Bidena ozbiljno se brine zbog eskalacije nasilja u Izraelu dok se napetosti tinjaju u Jeruzalemu, rekla je glasnogovornica Bijele kuće Jen Psaki.
