Vlasti Saudijske Arabije najavile su da će u narednih nekoliko dana saopćiti informacije o organiziranju ovogodišnjih hodočašća hadža i umre.
Resorno saudijsko Ministarstvo za hadž i umru radi na izradi plana ovogodišnjih hodočašća u Mekki i Medini, koja su prošle godine u uvjetima pandemije COVID-19 bila organizirana samo za vjernike iz Saudijske Arabije i ograničen broj vjernika iz inozemstva.
List Sabq uputio je pitanje resornim saudijskim vlastima da li će i ove godine hadž moći obaviti 60.000 vjernika, a u odgovoru je navedeno da će svi detalji o hadžu biti poznati u narednim danima.
Ministarstvo za hadž i umru je 9. maja saopćilo da će i ovogodišnje hodočašće Hadža biti organizirano uz posebne epidemiološke mjere zaštite, ali nije otkrilo više detalja.
