ZMAJEVI DOBILI NOVOG SELEKTORA
Faruk Hadžibegić novi je selektor fudbalske reprezentacije Bosne i Hercegovine, a na klupi nacionalnog tima zamijenit će bugarskog stručnjaka Ivayla Peteva.
Faruk Hadžibegić danas je na sjednici Izvršnog odbora Fudbalskog saveza Bosne i Hercegovine jednoglasno izabran za novog selektor fudbalske reprezentacije naše zemlje.
Iskusni 65-godišnji stručnjak tako će po drugi put imati šansu da vodi bh. selekciju nakon neuspjeha kojeg je imao 1999. godine.
Kako SportSport.ba saznaje, Hadžibegić nije dobio dugotrajan ugovor s Fudbalskim savezom BiH. Njegov ugovor trajat će do kraja kvalifikacija za Evropsko prvenstvo.
Potom će u zavisnosti od rezultata biti donijeta odluka o daljoj saradnji s ovim stručnjakom.
Hadžibegiću će u stručnom štabu pomagati Mehmed Janjoš i Nenad Gagro, a novi trener golmana postat će Siniša Mrkobrada.
Podsjetimo, selekcija Bosne i Hercegovine će u kvalifikacijama za Evropsko prvenstvo 2024. godine imati poprilično zahtjevnu grupu.
Portugal se naravno vidi kao glavni favorit u grupi J, a pored Zmajeva tu su još Islan, Luksembrug, Slovačka i Lihtenštajn.
Debi će novi selektor reprezentacije Bosne i Hercegovine imati u martu na domaćem terenu protiv selekcije Islanda (23. mart), a tri dana kasnije bh. tim gostuje Slovačkoj.
Prvi mandat na klupi reprezentacije BiH Hadžibegić je imao od marta do oktobra 1999. godine uz učinak od dvije pobjede, dva remija te tri poraza.
U trenerskoj karijeri koja traje duže od dvije decenije između ostalih vodio je Betis, Troyes, Dijon, Valenciennes, Gaziantepspor te selekciju Crne Gore…
