6. april – Dan oslobođenja Gradačca
- Svečano obilježavanje 6. aprila – Dana oslobođenja Gradačca počelo je polaganjem cvijeća na spomen-obilježju poginulim borcima NOR-a i civilnim žrtvama fašističkog terora 1941.-1945. godine i spomen-obilježju šehidima, poginulim borcima i civilnim žrtvama rata 1992.-1995. godine.
Tim povodom, u Kongresnoj dvorani Gradačkog sajma održana je i svečana akademija posvećenom ovom dana. U ime Udruženja antifašista i boraca NOR-a 1941-1945 Gradačac, predsjednik Husein Mejremić, čestitao je 73. godišnjicu oslobođenja općine Gradačac od fašizma.
Prigodnim riječima okupljenima obratili su se Zlatko Dukić, predsjednik SABNOR-a Tuzlanskog kantona i Općinski načelnik mr.sci Edis Dervišagić.
U svom obraćanju Općinski načelnik uputio je čestitke svim građankama i građanima općine Gradačac povodom ovog značajanog datuma. Istakao je da podsjećanje na datume u borbi protiv fašizma imaju za cilj podsjećanja na važnost borbe protiv fašizma i obaveze stvaranja demokratskog i tolerantnog društva među svim građanima Bosne i Hercegovine.
Na akademiji je podnesen i prigodan referat povodom ovog značajnofg datuma. U Narodnooslobodilačkoj borbi s područja općine Gradačac učestvovalo je 1.005 boraca. Njih 315 ugradilo je svoje živote u naš Gradačac i našu BiH, a 70 građana su bili žrtve fašističkog terora – kazao je Selmir Idrizović, prof. historije ispred Udruženja SEHARA Gradačac.
U svečanom dijelu akademije učešće su uzeli učenici osnovnih škola sa područja općine Gradačac.
