Amerikanci postigli sporazum o ogromnom paketu pomoći privredi i zdravstvu
Predstavnici Bijele kuće i Senata rano jutros postigli su sporazum kojim se predviđa ogromna pomoć preduzećima, radnicima i zdravstvenom sistemu koji su najviše pogođeni pandemijom novog virusa korona.
To je ujedno i najveća ekonomska mjera spašavanja u istoriji SAD i zamišljena je kao višenedjeljna ili višemjesečna “zakrpa za ekonomiju” koja se kreće ka recesiji, prenosi AP.
Vijest o postignutom sporazumu objavio je viši savjetnik u Bijeloj kući Erik Ueland malo poslije ponoći koji je dodao da ga još pravno treba doraditi.
“Dame i gospodo, postigli smo sporazum”, rekao je on.
Ovaj paket ekonomskih mjera predviđa direktne isplate većini Amerikanaca, proširenje naknada za nezaposlene i program od 367 milijardi dolara pomoći za mala preduzeća kako bi zadržala profit dok su radnici kod kuća.
“Nakon nekoliko dana intenzivnih pregovora, Senat je postigao dvostranački sporazum o istorijskom paketu pomoći za ovu pandemiju. To će usmjeriti nove resurse na prve linije borbe za zdravstvenu zaštitu naše nacije. I to će ubrizgati tri biliona dolara novca u ekonomiju što je brže moguće kako bi Amerikanci radnici, porodice, mala preduzeća i industrije uspjeli da prođu kroz ove poremećaje”, izjavio je glavni pregovarač Mič Mekonel.
