Trgovine u Beču od danas nastavljaju s radom
Nakon što je Austrija donijela odluku o ublažavanju strogih mjera uvedenih s ciljem sprječavanja širenja koronavirusa, svoja vrata od danas mogu otvoriti sve trgovine koje se nalaze u prostoru manjem od 400 kvadratnih metara, pridržavajući se pri tome ograničenja broja kupaca koji se tamo istovremeno smiju nalaziti.
U Beču je to, prema procjenama, oko 4.600 trgovina među kojima su male prodavnice mješovite robe, manji butici, knjižare, cvjećare kao i razne trgovine lokalnih dobavljača prehrambenih proizvoda. Većinom se radi o malim i srednjim poduzećima te porodičnim poljoprivrednim preduzećima koja će sada moći očuvati svoje poslovanje.
A da bi domaći proizvodi bili dostupni svima, Grad Beč odlučio je uspostaviti i posebnu online platformu gdje lokalni dobavljači mogu predstaviti svoje proizvode, a građani naručiti njihovu dostavu na svoj kućni prag.
Bečki gradonačelnik Michael Ludwig je tim povodom pozvao Bečlije da kupuju domaće proizvode kako bi pomogli osigurati radna mjesta i ojačati lokalnu privredu. Također je naglasio da kupnjom domaćih proizvoda možemo doprinijeti i zaštiti klime jer se tako smanjuje transportna udaljenost između proizvođača i kupaca.
Poljoprivrednici u gradu Beču danas uzgajaju čak 40 različitih vrsta povrća čiji godišnji urod dosegne preko 70 hiljada tona. Među kupcima su pri tome najpopularniji domaći paradajz, krastavci, salate i krompiri.
