Makedonija ima “pole position”, Hrvatska bez prava na kiks, Slovencima treba čudo
Okončana je prva faza EP za rukometaše, koje se ove godine održava u Hrvatskoj.
U prva tri kola vidjeli smo svega. Od sjajnih akcija, poteza, nekoliko iznenađenja, nažalost gledali smo ponovo sudijske lakrdije, krađe, sumnjive odluke… U Splitu, Zagrebu, Varaždinu, Poreču, viđen je miks svega što rukomet čini zanimljivim sportom.
Sada nam slijede ključne borbe. Bitke za plasman, medalje, za tron Evrope.
Nakon prva tri kola iznenađenje je svakako Makedonija. Makedonci će u drugi krug ući sa “pole positiona” u grupi 2. Prenose tri boda, slijede Španija, Danska, Češka Republika i Njemačka sa dva boda, Slovenci prenose jedan bod. Po ovome gledajući, dobili smo najluđu grupu možda u historiji prvenstava Evrope. Svih šest reprezentacija se nadaju polufinalu. U najtežoj pozicji su Slovenci, ali četi Veselina Vujovića tri pobjede skoro pa garantuju plasman u polufinale, a opet bi to bilo malo čudo. Makedonci imaju sve u svojim rukama. Remijem protiv Njemačke su pokazali da mogu igrati i sa najboljim u Evropi, tako da se ne smiju otpisati u duelima sa Španijom i ranjivom Danskom. Protiv Češke su blagi favoriti. Je li došlo vrijeme da Kirli Lazarov osvoji reprezentativnu medalju?
Grupa 1 ima puno jansiju računicu. Švedska i Francuska prenose četiri boda, Hrvatska i Norveška dva, Srbija i Bjelorusija dolaze u Zagreb bez bodova. Francuzi i Švedi u najboljem položaju. Duel Hrvatske i Norveške će dati odgovor ko će ostati u utrci za polufinale do posljednjeg kola. Srbija i Bjelorusija nemaju šanse za polufinale, ali sigurno će biti kamen, na kojem bi neko od ostale četiri selekcije mogao razbiti snove u polufinalu. Dakle, Francuzi i Švedi su korak ispred, Hrvati i Norvežani nemaju pravo na kiks.

Francuska 4, Švedska 4, Hrvatska 2, Norveška 2, Bjelorusija 0, Srbija 0.
Grupa 2 (Varaždin):
Makedonija 3, Španija 2, Češka Republika 2, Danska 2, Njemačka 2, Slovenija 1.
