Izrael zvanično priznao Kosovo, Priština otvara ambasadu u Jerusalemu

Izrael i Kosovo danas su uspostavili diplomatske odnose, a Priština je priznala Jerusalem kao glavni grad jevrejske države. – piše portal Klix.ba. U zamjenu za pozicioniranje svoje misije u Jerusalemu, Kosovo je dobilo priznanje od Izraela.

Izraelski ministar vanjskih poslova Gabi Ashkenazi rekao je da je ceremonija označila “prvi put u historiji uspostavljanje diplomatskih odnosa putem Zooma”.

Dodao je da je odobrio “formalni zahtjev Kosova za otvaranje ambasade u Jerusalemu”.

Kosovska ministrica vanjskih poslova, Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, zahvalila je Izraelu što je postao 117. zemlja koja je priznala nezavisnost, pridruživši se velikom dijelu zapadnog svijeta. Kina, Rusija i pet članica Evropske unije još nisu priznale Kosovo.
