Hrabri Zmajevi nisu uspjeli, Njemačka nosi bodove iz Bugojna
Rukometna reprezentacija Bosne i Hercegovine poražena je danas u Bugojnu od Njemačke u nastavku kvalifikacija za Evropsko prvenstvo. Konačan rezultat u dobrom i uzbudljivom meču bio je 24:26.
Gosti su u prvom dijelu igre mnogo problema protivniku pravili preko krila i iz brzih kontranapada. Zmajevi nisu imali rješenja za tranziciju rivala koji i pored izuzetne realizacije kontranapada, nije uspijevao da se značajno rezultatski odvoji.
Strpljivom igrom u napadu, izabranici Ivice Obrvana držali su priključak, a na momente uspijevali čak i povesti da bi se na veliki odmor otišlo kod rezultata 15:15. U sličnom ritmu oba tima ušla su u nastavak meča.
Nijedan tim nije uspijevao stići do značajnije prednosti, a s mnogo rotacija, selektor bh. tima držao je svježinu na obje strane terena. Tako je bilo do samog kraja. U 58. minuti, bh. tim krenuo je u napad za remi. No, Mirko Herceg nije pogodio. Bilo je u tom trenutku jasno da su Nijemci stigli do bodova u meču koji će ljubitelji rukometa u BiH dugo pamtiti po prilici koja nije iskorištena. Konačan rezultat bio je 24:26.
Najefikasniji u reprezentaciji BiH bili su Perić sa šest, Ovčina sa četiri te Malinović i Vranješ sa po tri gola, dok su Njemačku predvodili Schiller sa deset, Kastening sa sedam i Kuhn sa pet pogodaka.
Posljednji susret grupe 2 bh. tim će odigrati 2. maja protiv Austrije u Grazu.
Na Evropsko prvenstvo, koje će se od 13. do 30. januara 2022. godine održati u Slovačkoj i Mađarskoj, plasiraće se dvije prvoplasirane selekcije iz osam kvalifikacionih grupa i četiri najbolje trećeplasirane reprezentacije. Ranije su nastup na EURO 2022 osigurali domaćini te Španija i Hrvatska, kao aktuelni šampion i vicešampion Evrope.
