Velika Britanija uvela sankcije Miloradu Dodiku i Željki Cvijanović
Velika Britanija je danas saopćila da je sankcionisala člana Predsjedništva BiH i lidera SNSD-a Milorada Dodika (SNSD) i predsjednicu RS-a Željku Cvijanović (SNSD) zbog, kako je opisano, pokušaja potkopavanja legitimiteta i funkcionalnosti Bosne i Hercegovine.
Sankcije Miloradu Dodiku i Željki Cvijanović uključuju zabranu putovanja i zamrzavanje imovine, saopćeno je iz Vlade Velike Britanije. Inače, ovo su prve britanske sankcije za političare u BiH.
“Ovo dvoje političara namjerno potkopavaju teško stečeni mir u Bosni i Hercegovini. Ohrabreni od ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina, njihovo nepromišljeno ponašanje prijeti stabilnosti i sigurnosti širom Zapadnog Balkana”, rekla je britanska ministrica vanjskih poslova Liz Truss u saopćenju.
Milorad Dodik je okarakterisan kao separatistički lider bosanskih Srba koji je pokrenuo akcije za povlačenje Republike Srpske iz ključnih državnih institucija, koristeći se podjelom, opasnom, nacionalističkom retorikom, podrivajući domaći i regionalni mir i podstičući etničku mržnju i poricanje genocida.
Željka Cvijanović je sankcionisana jer je javno veličala ratne zločince i negirala genocid u Srebrenici i jer je iskoristila svoju kancelariju za podnošenje zakona u Republici Srpskoj kojima se nastojalo prenijeti državne nadležnosti na nivo entiteta.
Britanska vlada napominje da ove sankcije nisu protiv Republike Srpske niti njenih građana već protiv dvoje političara.
“Ovo su sankcije usmjerene na dvije osobe koje su se neodgovorno ponašale na svojim funkcijama”, istakli su.
Dalje se navodi da su ohrabreni ruskim podrivanjima međunarodnog sistema zasnovanog na pravilima, Dodik i Cvijanović iskoristili svoje pozicije vlasti kako bi forsirale de facto secesiju Republike Srpske, jednog od dva entiteta Bosne i Hercegovine, što je direktno u suprotnosti sa ustavom zemlje.
“Milorad Dodik je pokrenuo akciju za povlačenje Republike Srpske iz ključnih državnih institucija, koristeći razdornu, opasnu, nacionalističku retoriku, narušavajući domaći i regionalni mir i podstičući etničku mržnju i poricanje genocida.
U međuvremenu, u oktobru 2021. godine, Željka Cvijanović je iskoristila svoju kancelariju za podnošenje zakona u Republici Srpskoj kojima se nastojalo prenijeti državne nadležnosti na entitetski nivo. Cvijanović je javno veličala ratne zločince i negirala genocid u Srebrenici”, naveli su Britanci.
Iz Vlade Velike Britanije je saopćeno da radeći u koordinaciji sa Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama i drugim partnerima koji imaju isto mišljenje, se nadaju da će današnje sankcije potaknuti druge države da primjene slične restriktivne mjere koje političare pozivaju na odgovornost za njihovo destabilizirajuće i opasno ponašanje.
