Bećirović sa Stoltenbergom najavio intenzivniji put BiH u NATO, Cvijanović kaže da govori u svoje ime
Član Predsjedništva Bosne i Hercegovine Denis Bećirović sastao se u Briselu sa sa generalnim sekretarom NATO-a Jensom Stoltenbergom.
Bećirović je naglasio da njegova prva posjeta inostranstvu ima simbolični i strateški značaj, uz poruku da će Bosna i Hercegovina sigurno nastaviti i intenzivirati put prema punopravnom članstvu u NATO. Tom prilikom on je izrazio opredijeljenost da će učiniti sve u skladu sa svojim ustavnim ovlaštenjima, donesenim zakonima, te strateškim odlukama, koje su usvojene uz puni konsenzus svih političkih aktera, da Bosna i Hercegovina što prije postane članicom NATO-a.
Tokom sastanka sa generalnim sekretarom NATO-a Jensom Stoltenbergom, član Predsjedništva BiH Bećirović je predložio novi pristup intenziviranju NATO integracija Bosne i Hercegovine kroz zajedničku mapu puta prema kojoj bi se Bosni i Hercegovini mogao uputiti poziv za članstvo u NATO u što kraćem roku. Potpuno nova geopolitička situacija traži i od NATO-a i od Bosne i Hercegovine da budu brži, efikasniji i konkretniji, jer promjena evropske sigurnosne arhitekture ne trpi više nikakvo odugovlačenje. Naglašeno je da će predstojeći samit NATO-a u Litvaniji u junu biti prilika da se ukaže na značaj dinamiziranja puta Bosne i Hercegovine u NATO.
Još jednom je osudio rusku agresiju na Ukrajinu i naglasio važnost iskazivanja solidarnosti sa pravednom borbom ukrajinskog naroda za slobodu. On je ukazao na važnost da sve demokratske zemlje doprinesu, u skladu sa svojim kapacitetima i mogućnostima, odbrani mira, međunarodnog prava i općih demokratskih načela.
Član Predsjedništva BiH izrazio je uvjerenost da se zajedničkim snagama može doći do cilja, a to je stabilna regija i funkcionalna Bosna i Hercegovina, koja će aktivno doprinositi regionalnoj i međunarodnoj sigurnosti. Najavljeno je da će Bosna i Hercegovina nastaviti aktivnu saradnju sa NATO, ali i saveznicima na bilateralnoj osnovi, kako bi se osnažile operativne odbrambene sposobnosti. On je naveo da je Bosna i Hercegovina odlučna da doprinosi međunarodnoj sigurnosti u smislu sudjelovanja u NATO operacijama, što je potvrđeno učešćem u dosadašnjim NATO misijama.
Također, Bećirović izrazio je zahvalnost generalnom sekretarom NATO-a Jensu Stoltenbergu na podršci i naporima koje zajedno sa saveznicima pruža Bosni i Hercegovini. Tokom posjete sjedištu NATO-a Bećirović je uputio poziv Jensu Stoltenbegru da što prije posjeti Bosnu i Hercegovinu.
Na pitanje novinske agencije Srna da li je Bećirovićeva posjeta usaglašena na sjednici Predsjedništva BiH iz kabineta Željke Cvijanović, trenutne predsjedavajuće Predsjedništva BiH, kazali su da je “riječ o individualnoj posjeti.
Dodali su da ta posjeta nije prošla proceduru odobravanja na sjednici Predsjedništva, “pa nije bilo ni usaglašavanja stavova”.
– Samim tim nije pravljena ni delegacija u kojoj bi bili predstavnici druga dva kabineta. Dakle nije riječ o posjeti člana Predsjedništva u ime Predsjedništva, već o pojedinačnoj posjeti jednog člana i njegovog kabineta što je moguće u praksi, ali u tom slučaju ne odražava stavove cijele institucije – naveli su iz njenog kabineta, prenosi RSE.
