U SAD uhapšen Siniša Đurđić, osumnjičeni za ratne zločine u BiH
Tužilaštvo BiH je u saradnji s partnerskim institucijama SAD provelo aktivnosti na prikupljanju dokaza o ulozi osumnjičenog u ratu u BiH.
Tužilaštvo BiH postupilo je po molbi za pružanje međunarodne pravne pomoći SAD u krivičnom predmetu protiv osumnjičenog Siniše Đurđića (1973.), kroz saradnju s pravosudnim institucijama SAD u pogledu razmjene informacija od značaja za vođenje ovog postupka, kao i kroz direktnu pomoć saslušanjem svjedoka u predmetu ratnog zločina.
Siniša Đurđić je pod istragom pravosuđa SAD zbog prikrivanja svoje ratne prošlosti prilikom emigriranja i useljenja u SAD, što je kažnjivo prema američkim imigracijskim zakonima.
Također, u predmetu Tužilaštva BiH Đurđić je osumnjičen za počinjene ratne zločine u predmetu Tužilaštva BiH, te će od američkih vlasti biti zatraženo njegovo izručenje Bosni i Hercegovini.
Tužilaštvo provodi istragu protiv Siniše Đurđića zbog postojanja sumnje da je za vrijeme rata u BiH, u svojstvu čuvara u logoru Bunker kod pansiona “Kon Tiki” u Vogošći i “Planjina kuća” u Svrakama, počinio mučenja i zlostavljanja zarobljenika u navedenim objektima.
Tužilaštvo BiH je u navedenom predmetu putem međunarodne pravne pomoći saslušalo ukupno 18 svjedoka koji borave na području BiH, a čije izjave su bile potrebne američkim kolegama.
Tužilaštvo BiH zahvaljuje se pravosuđu SAD na pomoći i saradnji na otkrivanju i lociranju ovog osumnjičenog.
Tužilaštvo BiH, zajedno s partnerskim institucijama, provodi aktivnosti na identificiranju, lociranju i izručenju u BiH osumnjičenih za ratne zločine koji se skrivaju u svim djelovima svijeta, što je bitan korak u borbi protiv nekažnjenosti ratnih zločina.
