Predsjednik Palestine Mahmoud Abbas i čelnik političkog ureda Hamasa Ismail Heniyye dogovorili su nastavak koordinacije protiv takozvanog mirovnog plana SAD-a o izraelsko-palestinskom pitanju, prenosi Anadolu Agency (AA).
Palestinska novinska agencija WAFA javila je kako je Heniye nedugo prije nego što je američki predsjednik Donald Trump iznio detalje plana kojeg naziva “Sporazumom stoljeća”, telefonom razgovarao s Abbasom.
Tokom razgovora rečeno je kako Hamas stoji iza čvrstog stava predsjednika Palestine i da su odani legitimnim nacionalnim prioritetima palestinskog naroda te da odbacuju takozvani ”Sporazum stoljeća” čiji je cilj likvidirati palestinski nacionalni projekt.
Heniyye je pozvao na to da sve nesuglasice budu ostavljene po strani te da zajednički djeluju protiv plana likvidacije palestinskog nacionalnog projekta.
Abbas je izrazio zadovoljstvo inicijativom Heniyyea te dodao kako je ključna tačka u borbi protiv projekta likvidacije palestinskog pitanja, palestinsko nacionalno jedinstvo.
