Aerodrom u Tuzli: Redu letenja dodato još osam destinacija, moguć dolazak nove aviokompanije
Međunarodni aerodrom Tuzla (MAT) bilježi veliki rast putnika u odnosu na prošlu godinu. Ljetni red letenja, koji je stupio snagu početkom aprila, donio je još osam destinacija, pa ih je sad ukupno 15. Sve ih pokriva aviokompanija Wizz Air, ali postoji mogućnost da u skorije vrijeme MAT konačno dobije još jednog operatera.
– U prvom tromjesečju prošle godine imali smo 32.471 putnika, a ove godine u tom periodu imamo 58.703. Tokom aprila ove godine već smo opslužili više od 35 hiljada putnika, a prošle godine smo tokom cijelog tog mjeseca imali 13.969 putnika – kaže Edina Šišić, koja rukovodi Sektorom saobraćaja na MAT-u.
Tokom zime putnici su iz Tuzle mogli letjeti za Malmo, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Berlin, Basel, Memmingen i Koln, a tim linijama sada su pridodati Beč, Billund, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Friedrichshafen, Baden Baden, Nurnberg i kao potpuna novina Milano.
– Pregovori s aviokompanijama su povjerljivi. Mi intenzivno radimo na jednom ugovoru i pregovori su u završnoj fazi, a na kraju će nam trebati i saglasnost osnivača – kaže v. d. direktora MAT-a Dževad Halilčević.
On dodaje da je, uz dva bazna aviona Wizz Aira, godišnji plan aerodroma prijevoz 400 hiljada putnika.
– Mi smo unaprijedili nosivost piste i sada umjesto aviona sa 180 putnika možemo primati avione sa 240 putnika. Trenutno imamo 74 operacije sedmično, a sve one bi se mogle raditi s povećanim brojem putnika – kaže Halilčević.
Da bi aerodrom zadovoljio veći priliv putnika potrebno je napraviti treći gate, a tender za taj projekat raspisan u novembru prošle godine je propao. Treći gate za sobom povlači i proširenje parkinga, što je još jedan važan infrastrukturni zahvat na MAT-u.
– Dobili smo svu potrebnu dokumentaciju za treći gate i čekamo samo da nam Vlada Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine odobri sredstva da bi raspisali tender. U optimističnom scenariju to bi mogli završiti do kraja godine – kaže Halilčević.
