Ahmići: 28 godina nakon ubistva 116 civila još se traga za 29 tijela

Porodice ubijenih i brojni dužnosnici odali su jučer počast za 116 bošnjačkih civila koje su prije 28 godina ubili pripadnici Hrvatskog vijeća odbrane (HVO) u mjestu Ahmići pored Viteza.

Kako su jučer ponovili članovi ubijenih stanovnika Ahmića, i dalje se traga za tijelima 29 ubijenih, a upozorili su i da nisu procesuirani svi odgovorni za ovaj zločin.

Obilježavanju ove tužne godišnjice prisustvovao je član Predsjedništva Bosne i Hercegovine Šefik Džaferović, koji je ponovio da je 116 civila mučki ubijeno zbog čega se nikada ne smije zaboraviti šta se dogodilo u tom dijelu BiH, ali i drugdje u BiH od 1992. do 1995. godine.

– Uvijek ćemo se toga sjećati i prenositi mlađim generacijama da se ovo ne smije zaboraviti jer je zaborav opasan i može voditi ka ponavljanju zločina. Nećemo odustati od istine i prave. I prošle godine smo tražili da se kaže gdje se nalaze grobnice onih koji još nisu pronađeni – podsjetio je Džaferović.

Kaže da se još uvijek zahtijeva i da odgovaraju brojni izvršioci zločina u Ahmićima koji je okarakteriziran kao zločin protiv čovječnosti, ali Džaferović podsjeća da je komandant UNPROFOR-a koji je bio tada ovdje kazao je da je u pitanju genocid.

Ocijenio je da zabrinjava odavanje počasti onima koji su bili učesnici ubijanja u Ahmićima jer to nije put za zajednički život i postizanje civilizacijskih vrijednosti.

Predsjednik Stranke demokratske akcije (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović nazvao je zločin počinjen u Ahmićima prije 28 godina genocidom jer je njegov cilj bio da se ubije svaki stanovnik Ahmića, od djeteta od tri mjeseca, djece od nekoliko godina, žena i drugih civila.

– Ovo je potpuno etnički očišćeno mjesto. Da se takve stvari više ne bi ponavljale, oni koji su to osmislili, koji su to počinili, moraju biti adekvatno kažnjeni. U slučaju Ahmića to nije tako – naglasio je Izetbegović, koji je također prisustvovao obilježavanju godišnjice.

Podsjetio je da su neki od osuđenih nalogodavaca, iako svi nisu izvedeni pred lice pravde, već odslužili svoju kaznu, a za direktnim izvršiocima se i dalje traga.

– Ne smijemo prestati raditi na tome da se tijela nađu, da nađu smiraj u zemlji, i da se kazne izvršioci i nalogodavci. Dok se to ne desi nećemo prestati i nema smiraja u ovoj zemlji dok se svi zločinci i u Ahmićima i diljem zemlje ne pronađu i primjerno kazne – zaključio je Izetbegović.

Za zločin u Ahmićima osuđeno je šest osoba, od čega je Haški tribunal (ICTY) izrekao pet presuda, među kojima je i kazna od 25 godina zatvora Dariju Kordiću, koji je oslobođen nakon izdržane dvije trećine kazne, dok je Sud BiH na deset godina zatvora osudio Paška Ljubičića.
