Uvijek i iznova se moramo podsjećati fundamentalnih vrijednosti i principa sadržanih u Povelji Ujedinjenih nacija koji otjelovljuju srž međunarodnog poretka. Ovi principi i vrijednosti jednako su relevantni danas kao i 1945. godine. Primarna odgovornost ove organizacije i svih njenih država članica jeste podrška i zaštita ovih vrijednosti i principa od modernih izazova koji ih duboko dovode u pitanje”, rekao je Izetbegović
