Borrell u srijedu stiže u Sarajevo
Visoki predstavnik Evropske unije za vanjsku politiku Josep Borrell posjetit će Sjevernu Makedoniju, Albaniju i Bosnu i Hercegovinu od 13. do 16. marta, najavljeno je iz Brisela.
“Posjeta će ponovo potvrditi posvećenost i podršku Evropske unije regionu, imajući u vidu ruski rat protiv Ukrajine i njegov uticaj na sigurnost Evrope u cjelini”, saopšteno je danas, uoči zapadnobalkanske turneje Borrella.
Borrell će, kako se navodi, u ponedjeljak boraviti u Skoplju, gdje će se sastati s predsjednikom Sjeverne Makedonije Stevom Pendarovskim, premijerom Dimitrom Kovačevskim i ostalim visokim zvaničnicima.
Dodaje se da će Borrell prisustvovati i događaju na kojem će predstavnici civilnog društva i omladinskih organizacija predstaviti svoje učešće na Konferenciji o budućnosti Evrope.
Visoki predstavnik EU će u utorak otputovati u Tiranu, gdje će se sastati s premijerom Edijem Ramom i ostalim zvaničnicima, a tokom posjete Albaniji obići će i radove na restauraciji mozaika Nacionalnog historijskog muzeja, koji je renoviran sredstvima EU za oporavak nakon zemljotresa.
U srijedu u Sarajevu, visoki predstavnik će prvo posjetiti trupe EUFOR-a, čiji je kapacitet skoro udvostručen, a nakon toga će se sastati s predstavnicima vlasti Bosne i Hercegovine, opozicije i civilnog društva.
Sve zemlje Zapadnog Balkana, osim Srbije, uskladile su politiku sankcija protiv Rusije sa Evropskom unijom. Srbija je jedina zemlja kandidat koja nije uvela sankcije Rusiji.
