Bosanska Krupa: Za Dan oslobođenja otvoreno impresivno spomen-obilježje “Ljiljan”
Povodom obilježavanja 25. godišnjice od oslobođenja Bosanske Krupe, na brdu Ćojluk danas je svečeno otvoreno spomen-obilježje “Ljiljan”.
Impresivni “Ljiljan” čije su latice visine sedamnaest, a raspona deset i po metara, vidljiv je iz skoro svih dijelova Bosanske Krupe, a samo spomen-obilježje je izgrađeno na površini od oko tri hiljade kvadratnih metara.
Obilježje je podignuto u čast boraca koji su braneći Ćojluk, svoj grad i domovinu, herojski položili živote, a na podnožju spomen-obilježja uklesana su imena 62 šehida.
Podsjećamo, u nedjelju 17. septembra 1995.godine, do stanovnika općine Bosanska Krupa koji su se nalazili u izbjeglištvu širom tadašnjeg Okruga Bihać doprle su riječi komandanta 511. slavne, brigadira Mirsada Sedića:
“Selam svim Krupljanima i svim građanima Bosne i Hercegovine iz slobodnog grada Bosanska Krupa. Naime, danas poslije 1.244 dana, danas je 1.245. dan okupacije Bosanske Krupe, jedinice 511. slavne i ostale brigade 5. korpusa su oslobodile Bosansku Krupu”.
Od tada se 17. septembar slavi kao Dan oslobođenja i Dan općine Bosanska Krupa, a danas je pored otvaranja impresivnog spomenika, obilježen svečanom sjednicom Općinskog vijeća, obilazkom šehitluka te degustacijom velike rođendanske torte duge oko šest metara.
