Davis Kup reprezentacija BiH savladala Južnoafričku Republiku sa 3:1
Teniska reprezentacija Bosne i Hercegovine savladala je Južnoafričku Republiku i plasirala se u baraž za ulazak u Svjetsku grupu Davis Cupa. Lloyd Harris predao je meč play-offa Davis Cupa Damiru Džumhuru i tako je Bosna i Hercegovina slavila sa 3:1. Džumhur je dominirao u prvom setu. Dobio ga je sa 6:1 za samo 33 minute igre i bilo je vidljivo da u igri južnoafričkog tenisera nešto ne štima.Dobro je Damir ušao i u drugi set. Odmah je napravio break u trećem gemu, da bi nakon pauze Harris odlučio predati meč i to je značilo pobjedu bh. tenisera.Prije ovog duela,izuzetno vrijedan bod su osvojili u paru Mirza Bašić i Tomislav Brkic,koji su sa 2:0 u setovima pobjedili tandem Klaasen – Roelofse. Naša reprezentacija je ovom pobjedom stigla na korak do svjetske elite. U septembru će za plasman među 30 najboljih selekcija svijeta igrati protiv jedne od reprezentacija koje budu poražene u prvom kolu Svjetske grupe koje je trenutno u toku.
