Ekstremni toplotni val pogodio Evropu, u mnogim državama oboreni temperaturni rekordi
Meteorolozi kažu da je prvi toplotni talas ove godine izrokovala vrela vazdušna masa koja je stigla iz Sahare.
Nacionalna meteorološka služba Španije upozorila je da će sve do nedjelje temperature rasti te da će biti veoma intenzivne na jugozapadu zemlje. Za veći dio južnog Portugala i pokrajinu Badajoz u Španiji izdat je crveni meteoalarm.
Rekordno visoke temperature zabilježene su i u Velikoj Britaniji gdje je izmjereno 37 stepeni Celzija. Ekstremno je toplo i u Njemačkoj i Francuskoj, a meteorolozi kažu da ovako visoke temperature u Parizu nisu zabilježene od 1976. godine.
Sa neuobičajeno visokim temperaturama suočava se i Poljska u kojoj je izmjerena temperatura od 34 stepena Celzija. Vlasti su naredile da se na ulicama Varšave postave uređaji s hladnom vodom, a građanima je savjetovano da ne izlaze vani ukoliko ne moraju.
Neuobičajeno visoke temperature nisu zaobišle ni Sjevernu Koreju u kojoj je u pojedinim dijelovima zemlje izmjerena temperatura od 40 stepeni Celzija.
