Turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan je sinoć poručio da je dužnost svakog muslimana da zaštiti jerusalemsku džamiju Al-Aqsa, te da je napad na muslimane u tom dijelu svijeta napad na muslimane Meke, Istanbula, Kaira, Bakua i Sarajeva.
Ovo je izjavio nakon što su opet izbili sukobi između izraelskih sigurnosnih snaga i brojnih vjernika koji su bili u džamiji.
Osudio je ponašanje izraelskih snaga i Izrael je nazvao “okrutnom terorističkom državom koja brutalno i nemoralno napada muslimane”. Kako je kazao, muslimanima ne preostaje ništa drugo osim da zaštite svoju svetost i pravo na svoj dom koje postoji hiljadama godina.
Erdogan je imao poruku za muslimane širom svijeta.
“Dužnost svakog muslimana je da zaštiti čast i dostojanstvo svetog grada Jerusalema. Napad na bogomolje i muslimane u Jerusalemu, posebno na Al-Aqsu, je napad na sve nas. To je napad na muslimane u Al-Qudsu, ali i one koji posjećuju Kabu u Meki, na one koji su blizu poslanika Muhammeda a.s. u Medini. To je napad na muslimane u Diyarbakiru, Istanbulu, Kairu, Islamabadu, Džakarti, Kuala Lumpuru, Bakuu i Sarajevu”, kazao je i dodao da je dužnost suprotstaviti se onome što se dešava u Jerusalemu.
Smatra da svako posredno podržava Izrael ako šuti ili nema jasan stav o ovom događaju. Također je pozvao da, kako je rekao, svijet reagira protiv izraelskih napada na Al-Aqsu. To se prije svega odnosilo na države sa većinski muslimanskim stanovništvom.
Obećao je da će Turska reagirati i zaključio da više niti jedna osoba nema povjerenje u međunarodne institucije i međunarodno pravo.
Naglasio je da ako svijet ne može zaštititi Jerusalem i muslimane koji žive u njemu, onda to znači, kako je naveo, da se izdao i da je aktivirao bombu kojom će se samouništiti, piše turski dnevni list Cumhuriyet.
