Turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan u četvrtak je prisustvovao dodjeli nagrada za kulturu i umjetnost gdje je ponovo podsjetio na nepravdu počinjenu dodjelom Nobelove nagrade za književnost austrijskom piscu Peteru Handkeu, koji je javnosti poznat kao negator genocida počinjenog u Srebrenici 1995. godine, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).

Kako je kazao, osim šake ljudi niko nije digao glas zbog tog čina.
U Stockholmu je u utorak uveče upriličena ceremonija dodjele Nobelove nagrade. Ovogodišnji dobitnik Nobelove nagrade za književnost Handke poznat je po kontroverznim stavovima o dešavanjima na ovim prostorima, odnosno po tome što je negirao genocid u Srebrenici i pozvao na odbranu Slobodana Miloševića, bivšeg predsjednika Srbije i Savezne Republike Jugoslavije te haškog optuženika za ratne zločine.
Ceremoniju dodjele nagrada bojkotovala je Albanija, Kosovo, Hrvatska, Turska i BiH.
