ESPN: Superligaši dvije godine bez Lige šampiona?
Kako prenosi sajt “ESPN” UEFA navodno namjerava da timove koji su ostali vjerni projektu Superlige suspenduje na dvije godine kada je takmičenje u Ligi šampiona u pitanju.
Iz ove medijske kuće pozivaju se na nekoliko izvora iz same UEFA kada je ova informacija u pitanju. Dakle, to bi značilo da timovi koji se i dalje nisu distancirali od projekta Superlige, koji je inicijativno pokrenulo 12 klubova Real Madrid, Barselona, Atletiko, Juventus, Inter, Milan, Arsenal, Mančester Junajted, Mančester Siti, Liverpul, Čelsi i Totenhem, a u ovom trenutku to su Real Madrid i Juventus.
Čelnici ova dva kluba Florentino Peres i Andrea Anjeli su i čelni ljudi projekta koji (još) nije zaživio. Međutim, prvi su sidro digli premijerligaši, potom i Atletiko, Inter i Milan, a i Barselona se nekako distancirala. U Italiji je čak i usvojen propis koji izričito zabranjuje učešće tamošnjih klubova u takmičenja koja ne odobrava savez.
Ostaje da se vidi da li će ova prijetnja ostati samo na nivou spekulacija, i iako se pokaže da je ozbiljna, kakav će odgovor biti onih klubova koji su i dalje ostali privrženi ovom projektu, u prvom redu Reala i Juventusa.
