Neimenovani irački vojni zvaničnik za AA je kazao da su najmanje dva projektila Katyusha pogodila zračnu bazu Al-Taji koja je smještena 85 kilometara sjeverno od Bagdada.
Riječ je o bazu koju zajednički koriste vojnici Iraka, SAD-a i druge strane snage koje su u sastavu koalicije koju predvodi SAD.
Do sada nema informacija o posljedicama napada, a slične napade u Iraku ranije su izvodile proiranske šijitske grupe.
