Istanbul: Sedmomjesečni Arslan podvrgnut drugoj hemoterapiji, ljekari zadovoljni stanjem
Sedmomjesečni Arslan Kulačić u nastavku liječenja u istanbulskoj bolnici “Acibadem” počeo je primati drugu hemoterapiju, a ljekari su zadovoljni dosadašnjim tokom liječenja, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA)
Arslanu je po rođenju dijagnosticiran tumor na mozgu, tačnije tumor iz grupe primitivnih neuroektodermalnih tumora (PNET), odnosno po novoj klasifikaciji Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije iz 2016. godine iz grupe embrionalnih tumora.
Početkom novembra 2017. godine, sa samo četiri mjeseca, Arslan je operisan u UKC Tuzla, ali se uprkos uspješnoj operaciji tumor nakon izvjesnog vremena vratio i uvećao. Budući da druga operacija nije bila moguća, Arslan je krajem januara prebačen na liječenje u klinici “Acibadem” u Istanbulu.
Glavni ljekar klinike “Acibadem” Caglar Cuhadaroglu za AA je kazao kako su prošle četiri sedmice Arslanovog liječenja u Istanbulu i kako je započeta druga hemoterapija.
Podsjetivši da je Arslan po dolasku u Tursku podvrgnut operativnom zahvatu nakon kojeg je smješten na Odjel intenzivne njege, Cuhadaroglu je kazao kako je hemoterapija uključena nakon što je utvrđen tip tumora.
“Prva hemoterapija je uspješno završena. Morao je nakon nekoliko dana primati antibiotike, ali stanje mu je generalno bilo dobro. Sada primjenjujemo drugu hemoterapiju i trenutno se ne naziru nikakvi problemi. Pratimo stanje bez davanja antibiotika koji su često nužni jer hemoterapije obaraju imunitet i pacijenti su podložniji infekcijama“, kazao je Cuhadaroglu.
Najavivši da će u narednim danima Arslan biti podvrgnut trećoj hemoterapiji, Cuhadaroglu je kazao kako će u nastavku liječenja biti utvrđeno stanje i provedene detaljne kontrole radi određivanja dugoročne mape puta kojom će se liječenje biti nastavljeno. Od rezultata tih kontrola ovisi i u kojem obimu i trajanju će hemoterapije biti nastavljene.
“Mali Arslan veoma pozitivno reagira na terapije. Trenutno nemamo nepremostivih problema. Naravno da na dnevnoj bazi bude variranja, ali nije to razlog za veću zabrinutost. Ovo jeste dug put liječenja, ali do sada nismo naišli na razloge za pesimizam. Nije bilo ozbiljnijih infekcija i reakcija na hemoterapiju kojih je moglo biti. Stalno pratimo i analiziramo stanje. Stručnjaci su kazali da je bitan presjek stanja nakon šest mjeseci liječenja i mi smo još u toj fazi. Nije ispravno pitati šta je s tumorom sada kada počinjemo drugu hemoterapiju. Još je rano za to, a mi smo uvijek veoma pažljivi po tom pitanju. Terapije koje primjenjujemo nisu jednostavne, zahtijevaju stručnost i mogu imati popratne efekte. Arslanovi majka i otac su kazali da su zadovoljni dosadašnjim tokom liječenja“, kazao je Cuhadaroglu.
Ističući da svo osoblje daje maksimum u procesu Arslanovog liječenja, Cuhadaroglu je kazao da svi imaju dobre odnose s mališanom i njegovom porodicom i da svi strpljivo čekaju rezultate terapija.
U Bosni i Hercegovini ranije je pokrenut niz humanitarnih akcija za prikupljanje potrebne 133.000 eura za liječenje malog Arslana u Istanbulu.
