Izraelska Općina Jerusalem srušila je historijske stepenice koje vode do područja Starog grada Jerusalema i džamije Al-Aksa.
Predsjednik Komisije za zaštitu muslimanskih mezarja Mustafa Abu Zehra rekao je da su općinski timovi okupacionih snaga buldožerom upali u područje Bab el-Esbat i srušili stepenice do šehidskog mezarja, javlja Anadolija.
Abu Zehra dodao je da su tim napadom izraelske vlasti imale za cilj uspostaviti projekt pod nazivom “Vrtovi Tevrata” na mezarju šehida, koje se prostire na 4.000 kvadratnih metara.
Abu Zehra pozvao je narod Jerusalema da se ujedine kako bi zaštitili važne građevine tog garada od “okupatorskog nasilja”.
