Bolnica koju su Kinezi izgradili u 8 dana već počinje primati pacijente.
Kina gradi i drugu bolnicu u Wuhanu u kojoj će se također liječiti pacijeniti zaraženi koronavirusom. Ta će bolnica imati 1600 kreveta i zvat će se Leishenshan (planina gromovnika) i trebala bi biti završena 5. veljače
Sagrađena u samo osam dana, kineska bolnica za liječenje osoba zaraženih novim koronavirusom u Wuhanu, epicentru epidemije, počinje u ponedjeljak primati nove pacijente, objavili su državni mediji.
Bolnica Huoshenshan (ili planina boga vatre) opremljena je s 1000 kreveta za pacijente u kojih je zaraza potvrđena i sagrađena je kako bi se ublažio pritisak na druge bolnice u gradu u kojem se virus širi.
Epidemija je do sada usmrtila 361 osobu, a zaraženo je više od 17.000 u Kini te najmanje 171 osoba izvan nje.
U pokrajini Hubei u kojem se nalazi grad Wuhan zaraženo je više od 11.000 ljudi, objavila je u ponedjeljak državna televizija.
Bolnica Huoshenshan sagrađena je po uzoru na bolnicu u Pekingu podignutu 2003. godine za pacijente pogođene SARS-om (teški akutni respiratorni sindrom).
Više od 7.500 radnika sudjelovalo je u gradnji brzinski podignute bolnice u Wuhanu na kojoj su radovi počeli 25. januara.
