Saša Magazinović je podnio ostavku na funkciju predsjednika Glavnog odbora Socijaldemokratske partije BiH.
Nastavit ću davati svoj doprinos SDP-u jednakim intenzitetom kao i do sada. Ova odluka ima veze samo sa mnom i nije dio ničega što bi mogli drugačije interpretirati.Nikada me moje ime nije sprječavalo da kao i svaki drugi čovjek zdravog srca i uma, osjećam ogromnu bol zbog Srebrenice. Isto tako me nikada pripadnost nekoj grupi nije sprječavala da razlučim dobro od lošega, pa i onda kad je loše tu, među nama. Ovaj put loše je među nama – naveo je.
