Mladi Zeničanin postao gradonačelnik u Švedskoj!
Zeničanin Dario Mihajlović (36) ratne 1993. godine, kao 11-godišnji dječak, s ruksakom na leđima, otišao je u daleku Švedsku, gdje je počeo novi život. Danas je on gradonačelnik Ulricehamna, grada u kojem živi, odnosno predsjednik Gradskog vijeća, koje čini 49 ljudi.
U razgovoru za Avaz, Mihajlović je govorio zbog čega je otišao iz rodne Zenice, kako je bilo snaći se u dalekoj Švedskoj te o političkom angažmanu. Bio je treći razred Osnovne škole “Vladimir Nazor” kad su njegovi roditelji 9. septembra 1993. godine, zbog ratnih dešavanja u BiH, odlučili otputovati u Švedsku. Odlučili su otići u Švedsku, jer je tamo već otišao brat Dariovog oca. Ne krije da je bilo teško početi novi život.
– Bilo je teško samo s ruksakom na leđima doći u drugu zemlju. Sve se moralo ispočetka, čitav život. Najveći izazov bio je savladati jezik – kaže Dario. Nakon što je savladao jezik, koristeći se engleskim i švedskim, nastavio je školovanje. – Htio sam nešto u vezi s elektronikom, jer je otac to radio, samo što je mene zanimala elektronika s računarima. To je bilo doba kad je bio zamah računara, dobre mogućnosti da zaradite na tom polju. Ali, kad sam završio srednju, sve je bilo drugačije. Svako je to znao i bavio se time – govori Zeničanin.
Sa srednjom školom, počeo je raditi u prodavnici elektronske opreme, a nakon devet godina, prešao je u prodavnicu mobitela. Sve vrijeme je razmišljao o daljnjem školovanju. – Kako sam imao posao i sigurnost, teško je bilo preuzeti sljedeći korak u životu. Ipak, napustio sam posao i upisao fakultet za nastavnika – učitelja. Danas radim kao nastavnik engleskog, matematike, švedskog, historije, religije i društvenih studija do šestog razreda – govori on. U politici je od februara prošle godine.
– Radio sam s kolegom koji je pokrenuo političku partiju “Nya Ulricehamn” i odlučio sam da mu se priključim. Učinio sam to da bih nešto promijenio, a volio bih da svako ima te namjere. Politika je involvirana u sve, kod tebe, za tebe, protiv tebe. Jedini način da pokušate poboljšati stanje u kojem živite je angažman u politici – govori on.
Ističe da funkcija gradonačelnika u Švedskoj ne postoji, ali funkcija koju on obavlja, predsjedavajući Gradskog vijeća, znači u prijevodu da je gradonačlnik. – To je kao u BiH gradonačelnik, ali ovdje je to više kao “front figura” nego kao glavni u gradu. Ja sam glavni u vijeću i borim se za svoje ciljeve koje sam postavio kad sam krenuo u politiku. Nije mala stvar da vas izaberu i da predsjedavate vijećem u kojem ima 49 ljudi. Velika je odgovornost – pojašnjava on.
Kaže da prati politička dešavanja u BiH onoliko koliko ima vremena i da je svugdje identična situacija. – Mislim da je svugdje isto, ne samo u BiH. Ljudi, općenito, krenu u politiku da nešto promijene, ali kada dođu do pozicija, gledaju lični interes. To je svugdje problem, ne samo kod vas, i to je poražavajuće. Ljubi zaborave zbog čega su tu i da su ih ljudi izabrali zbog nekih razloga i političkih uvjerenja – govori on. Na kraju razgovora ističe da će njegov daljnji angažman biti usmjeren da doživi uspon u političkoj karijeri, odnosno da postane premijer, ali i da se dalje obrazuje i usavršava.
Dario je suprug i otac dvoje djece, sina (8) i kćerke (6), s kojima je dolazio u Zenicu. Ne može reći da se nikad neće vratiti u rodni grad. – Ne mogu reći da planiram, ali ni da se nikad ne bih vratio. Ovdje mi je život. Djeca idu u školu, žena mi je Šveđanka. Dolazili smo, vidjeli su Zenicu. Supruga Kerstin je oduševljena, sviđa joj se kako je naš narod gostoprimljiv i ljubazan. Prirodne ljepote BiH im se, također, sviđaju – kaže on.
