Dvije osobe uhapšene su u Modriči jer su putem SMS-a i lažnih Facebook profila varali građane da im izvrše dopune ultra kartica u iznosima od dvije do 50 KM, a taj novac su potom koristili za klađenje u kladionicama. Procjenjuje se da počinjena materijalna šteta iznosi oko 83.000 KM.
S.P. i B.Š. uhapsili su policijski službenici Odjeljenja za visokotehnološki kriminalitet MUP-a RS u saradnji sa pripadnicima Policijske uprave Doboj. Oni se terete za krivično djelo kompjuterska prevara”.

“Po naredbi Osnovnog suda u Modriči izvršeni su pretresi lokacija koje koriste privedene osobe i pronađena su i oduzeta sredstva izvršenja krivičnog djela i to: 12 mobilnih telefona, veći broj nosača sim kartica i sim kartica operatera MTEL, HALO i MTS i drugi predmeti koji potiču od izvršenja krivičnog djela”, saopćeno je iz MUP-a RS.

S.P. i B.Š. se sumnjiče da su krivično djelo izvršili na način što su od marta mjeseca 2016. godine do dana lišenja slobode korištenjem oko 300 telefonskih brojeva i više lažnih profila kreiranih na društvenoj mreži Facebook slanjem SMS poruka i poruka putem Messangera, lažno se predstavljajući kao osobe poznate oštećenim i od istih tražili uplatu dopuna na SIM kartice u iznosima od 2 do 50 KM. Osumnjičeni su uplaćene iznose koristili kako bi izvršili uplate za online klađenje na sportskoj kladionici.
