Muslimanski učenjaci pozivaju na odbranu džamije Al-Aksa
Međunarodna unija muslimanskih učenjaka (IUMS) pozvala je muslimanski svijet i njihove vođe da brane džamiju Al-Aksu u Al-Qudsu (Jerusalemu) nakon upada izraelskih doseljenika na treće najsvetije mjesto u islamu.
U saopćenju objavljenom kasno u nedjelju, generalni sekretar IUMS-a Ali Al-Qaradaghi rekao je da muslimanski učenjaci snažno osuđuju ove provokativne pokušaje.
Pozvao je vođe i narode islamskih nacija da brane svoj prvi pravac prema smjeru molitve (kibli). Unija je također pozvala da se učini sve što je moguće da se stane na kraj napadima okupatora na Al-Aksu i stanovnike Al-Qudsa (Jerusalema).
Al-Qaradaghi je apelovao na slobodne ljude u svijetu i međunarodne humanitarne organizacije da stanu uz palestinski narod i brane njihovo arapsko i islamsko pravo na Al-Aksu.
– Sa velikom zabrinutošću i tugom pratimo ono što se dešava u blagoslovljenoj džamiji Al-Aksa i Al-Quds Al-Sharifu i očajničkim pokušajima cionista da preuzmu potpunu kontrolu nad džamijom Al-Aksa – dodao je.
Saopćenje je objavljeno u trenutku visokih tenzija izazvanih planom izraelskih doseljenika za organiziranje kontroverznog “marša zastava” kako bi obilježili ono što nazivaju “danom ujedinjenja Al-Qudsa”, a što je u vezi s godišnjicom izraelske okupacije koja traje od 1967. godine
Shodno sporazumu kojeg su Izrael i Jordan potpisali 26. oktobra 1994. godine, upravljanje kompleksom Al-Akse u nadležnosti je Uprave za vakufe Al-Qudsa koja djeluje pod okriljem jordanskog Ministarstvo za vakufe i vjerska pitanja.
Međutim, izraelske vlasti zanemaruju taj sporazum i od 2003. godine i jednostranim potezima angažiraju policiju i bez odobrenja Uprave za vakufe uvode jevrejske grupe u kompleks Al-Akse.
Uprava za vakufe takve ulaske jevrejskih grupa i policije tretira ilegalnim upadom i kršenjem sporazuma i suvereniteta muslimanskih institucija.
