Najmanje 12 Palestinaca povrijeđeno u sukobima s izraelskom policijom kod džamije Al-Aqsa
Izraelska policija ispaljivala je gumene metke i bombe za ošamućivanje prema mladim Palestincima koji su je zasipali kamenicama kod džamije Al-Aqsa u Jerusalemu u petak, u posljednjem izbijanju nasilja na mjestu podjednako uvažavanom i među muslimanima i među Jevrejima.
Najmanje 12 Palestinaca je povrijeđeno u sukobima u ranim jutarnjim satima kod trećeg najsvetijeg mjesta u islamu, saopćio je palestinski Crveni polumjesec.
Izraelska policija saopćila je da je intervenirala kada su stotine ljudi počeli bacati kamenice i pirotehnička sredstva u njenom pravcu, uključujući i u pravcu Zapadnog zida, gdje se okupljaju jevrejski vjernici.
– Nastavit ćemo odlučno djelovati protiv pobunjenika i odmetnika u cilju očuvanja javnog reda i mira – navodi policija u saopćenju.
Skoro svakodnevne konfrontacije kod džamije izbile su u ovom mjesecu kada se ramazan podudara s jevrejskim praznikom Pesahom, što je privuklo stotine hiljada muslimana i Jevreja u strogo čuvani objekat u starom gradu u Jerusalemu, prenosi Reuters.
