Njemačka razmatra dalje uvođenje organičenja putovanja i dramatično smanjenje vazdušnog saobraćaja zbog zabrinutosti oko novih mutacija virusa korona, rekao je portparol Ministarstva unutrašnjih poslova Horst Zehofer.

Prema njegovim riječima, Ministarstvo razgovara sa njemačkom vladom o ukidanju svih putovanja koja nisu neophodna, prenosi CNN.

“Prijetnja koju predstavljaju brojne mutacije virusa zahtijeva dramatične mjere. To uključuje značajno strožije granične kontrole, posebno prema područjima visokog rizika, ali i smanjenje vazdušnog saobraćaja ka Njemačkoj na skoro nula, kao što to trenutno radi Izrael, kako bi spriječio ulazak mutacija virusa u zemlju”, objasnio je Zehofer.

Dodao je da građani očekuju da budu na najboji mogući način zaštićeni od eksplozije u broju inficiranih.

Zehofer je rekao da će odluka biti razmatrana na nacionalnom nivou, ako zadovoljavajuće mjere ne budu donijete na nivou EU.
