Novalić čestitao Zvijezdi “rođendan”
15-og maja je obilježeno 100 godina od osnivanja nogometnog kluba Zvijezda iz Gradačca.
Žao mi je što zbog obaveza nisam mogao prisustvovati.
Tih dvadesetih godina, kako pišu istorijski izvori, nogomet u Gradačac su donijeli zagrebački studenti iz Gradačca medju kojima je bio i Osmanbeg Gradašcevic.
Poslije toga,evo punih 100 godina, Gradačačani i svi oni koji su dolazili u njega su prihvatali ovaj klub, igrali za njega, navijali i pomagali.
Tako punih 100 godina.
Putevi ovog kluba su se ukrstili sa mnogim poznatim Gradačačanima medju kojima je i čuveni pisac i revolucionar Hasan Kikić.Kasnije su mnogi Kikići ostavili neizbrisiv trag u Zvijezdi, medju kojima svakako posebno mjesto zauzimaju Safet i Muris Kikić.
Od igrača svakako treba pomenuti Ešrefa Jašarevića čiji put je od Zvijezde vodio preko tuzlanske Slobode, kruševačkog Napretka sve do Galatasaraja i reprezentacije.Tu je i čuveni Željin Nikola Nikić.
Ponosim se da sam i ja imao tu privilegiju da učestvujem kao predsjednik Zvijezde u stogodišnjoj istoriji čak 11 godina.
Dosegli smo do Premijer lige i ovom prilikom želim da se zahvalim toj generaciji igrača a posebno igraču i treneru Ratku Ninkoviću.
Naravno i na sve one koji su punih 100 godina bili dio Zvijezde: igrači, treneri, uprave, navijači i gradjani Gradačca.
Zvijezda je sve vrijeme bila duša Gradačca.
