Afroamerikanac George Floyd preminuo je od posljedica gušenja, potvrdila je obdukcija, čije su rezultate večeras objavili američki mediji. Riječ je o nasilnoj smrti, dodaju mediji na osnovu izvještaja s obdukcije.Obdukciju je tražila Floydova porodica, piše CNN.
“Konstantni pritisak na desnoj strani karotidne arterije ometao je protok krvi do mozga, a težina na leđima obustavila mu je disanje”, naveo je advokat njegove porodice.
Floyd je imao kardioloških problema i visok pritisak. Dok je ležao fizički onemogućen da se pomjeri, jedan od policajaca mu je koljenom pritisnuo vrat i u tom položaju Floyd je proveo gotovo devet minuta.
“Molim vas, nemojte me ubiti, ne mogu disati”, bile su posljednje riječi Georga Floyda, koji je radio kao zaštitar u restoranu, a porodica kaže kako nikad nije nikom ništa loše učinio.
Obdukcija porodice razlikuje se od službene obdukcije kako je opisano u krivičnoj prijavi protiv službenika.
