Osmani je kazala da Kosovo podržava teritorijalni integritet i suverenitet Ukrajine, te izrazila spremnost da pruži sklonište ukrajinskim izbeglicama.
Euroatlanske integracije
Predsjednica države je zatražila od ministrice Berbok podršku Njemačke za članstvo Republike Kosovo u Savjetu Evrope. Istakla je da je Kosovo spremno da ispuni sve kriterijume za članstvo u ovoj organizaciji, te da bi to predstavljalo važan podsticaj za sprovođenje evropskih standarda za ljudska prava i evropske agende zemlje.
Također, Osmani je istakla da je za Kosovo i za mir i sigurnost u regionu, od suštinskog značaja da se započne proces članstva u NATO. Ruska agresija u Ukrajini, prema riječima Osmani, podstakla je neophodnost euroatlantskih integracija Kosova i cijelog zapadnog Balkana.
Kosovska predsjednica je naglasila da težnja Kosova da postane članica NATO-a ima za cilj da “spriječi napore da se Kosovo i region destabilizuju naporima Rusije i njenog saveznika Srbije”.
Odnosi dvije zemlje
Dalje, Osmani je pomenula prijetnju koja dolazi od bliske vojne saradnje između Rusije i Srbije, kao i od djelovanja ruskog centra u blizini granice sa Kosovom. Zatražila je podršku Njemačke za članstvo u Partnerstvu za mir, zatim u NATO, kao i u drugim međunarodnim organizacijama.
